The new associate dentist, Dr. Ivanova, joined North Shore Dental Group in 2016. Dr. Silviya Ivanova graduated Cum Laude from the University of Illinois at Chicago with a major in Psychology and Biology and a minor in Chemistry. She then continued to earn her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree at Midwestern University in Downers Grove.

Dr. Ivanova has become proficient in endodontics, oral surgery, fixed and removable prosthetics, periodontics, cosmetic dentistry, restoring implants, and limited orthodontic treatment as part of her clinical training. She treats each patient compassionately and firmly believes patient education is vital to optimal oral health. Following her belief in giving back to the community, Dr. Ivanova has participated in dental mission trips to serve those in need and promote oral health care.

Throughout her dental education, Dr. Ivanova has consistently pursued additional courses through the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD), the Chicago Dental Society (CDS), the American Student Dental Association (ASDA), and the Illinois State Dental Association (ISDS) and the American Dental Association (ADA).

Dr. Ivanova grew up in Chicago, and she is fluent in English and Bulgarian. She enjoys traveling, exploring the Chicago neighborhoods, and spending time with her loved ones in her free time."
